MICK MAKES IT A DOUBLE!

Mick Mallion became the first competitor to win Footcall for a second time. After a steady Group Stage he chose wisely in the Knockouts to cruise into the lead and take the top prize again keeping Oukland (Alan Church) at bay. He won the first Footcall back in 2000, he probably thinks that he'll get to keep to the trophy if he wins it again... well Jules Rimet might have had that rule but sadly it doesn't apply to Footcall. After Italy defender Marco Materazzi rubbed Zinedine Zidane up the wrong way, they went on to defeat France in a penalty shoot out to become World Cup champions for the fourth time.
